Publicist and musician. Started his career in local agencies. Then for for 4 years worked at Ogilvy & Mather Bogotá. In 2007 went to Leo Burnett Colombia as Creative Director. In 2013 was named Chief Creative Officer of Leo Burnett Costa Rica taking first place in creativity of the region. Two years later moved to Leo Burnett Mexico. And finally in July 2017 was named Chief Creative Officer of Y&R Mexico, where he currently works.
During his career have worked with brands like Kellogg´s, ABInBev, Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, General Motors, Danone, Azteca Bank, Chrysler, Jeep, Mercedez Benz, Kia Motors, McDonalds, Movistar – Telefonica among others.
Collected awards of major advertising festivals such as Cannes Lions including the 1st Grand Prix for Colombia in 2014 and 1st Gold Radio Lion in the history of Colombia. Also the 1st D&AD Pencil in the history of Colombia and 1st Gran Prix and 1st gold in the history of Costa Rica in Art Directors Club 2014.
Holder of prizes of One Show, Clio, London International Awards, New York Festivals, Effie Mexico, Effie Colombia, Effie Costa Rica, FIAP, Webby, Ojo de Iberoamerica, El Sol, Wave among others.
Member of Cannes Lions Jury 2018 and D&AD Jury 2019.
Best Creative Director of Mexico by El Ojo de Iberoamerica 2018 and Best Creative Director of Central America, El Ojo de Iberoamerica 2014.
